Back To The Gravity!
Rhonda and Bill exercise for an hour at Gold's Gym 5 times a week. They are very strict about that. Last year they made it to the gym three times, or maybe four times, sometimes five. This year, as an incentive, if they exercise five times a week, they can count (for their set point scores) as if they were exercising seven days a week. Usually they use the recumbent exercise bikes. They also have another incentive. If they go to the gym four times in a week, the fifth day, they can go in the hot tub when their exercise time is over! This is very relaxing. On Saturdays, for a change, Rhonda uses the treadmill. Bill goes swimming. It's a great feeling to be swimming and also to feel weightless in the water. When it's time to get out of the pool, Bill climbs the stairs to get out. He has the sensation of the weight again. Every week when he does this, he says to himself, "Back to the gravity!"
Each week the effect of that gravity is becoming less and less. This week, Rhonda lost a pound, down to 244 pounds and Bill lost two pound and he is down to 261 pounds. He is now down to the same weight he was at in 1996.
Another indicator of success with weight-loss: At the end of the month, the hip and waist measurements for Rhonda were both 1/2 inch less, and Bill's waist was also 1/2 inch less than the beginning of the month.
Here are their set point scores for this week:
Rhonda: (S) 82 (S) 100 (M) 100 (T) 96 (W) 96 (T) 80 (F) 85
Bill: (S) 82 (S) 100 (M) 91 (T) 96 (W) 100 (T) 100 (F) 98
I'm amazed that you guys are still at this! Most would have stopped around February. But you are still going strong.

It's to bad we can't just beat gravity altogether. Great job in doing what you can to keep it from beating down too hard on you.
