The Belt

Bill has had only one belt for the last two and a half years. So for consistency's sake, it makes for a good item to study for weight-loss. Bill bought the belt in the spring of 2007. Actually it was included with the sale when he bought the suit which he eventually wore at his three oldest daughters' weddings. Over that same time, Bill has lost a lot of weight. Since then, Bill has had to drill eleven new holes in his belt to accommodate his gradually shrinking waistline. The belt has to wrap practically half way around his body to be tucked in his belt loops. This might seem like it's an inconvenience, but oh, what a wonderful inconvenience it is! And the suit? Well, despite the suit store having lifetime alterations, and Bill getting it taken in, the man who does those alterations told Bill that he couldn't take it in any more. "I'm a tailor, not a magician!" he said. During this same time period, Rhonda has also lost a lot of weight.

In fact, this week Rhonda lost a pound, down to 233 pounds. This is the lowest weight she has been at for many, many years. Bill lost three pounds, down to 225. He is just 25 pounds away from what he weighed 25 years ago when he and Rhonda were married.

Here are their set point scores for this week:

Rhonda: (F) 95 (S) 100 (S) 100 (M) 100 (T) 100 (W) 100 (T) 96 (F) 100
Bill: (F) 95 (S) 100 (S) 100 (M) 96 (T) 100 (W) 100 (T) 100 (F) 100
