Turkey

November is turkey month, so here is some information about turkey:

There is probably no other food that evokes images of celebration, family, friends and giving thanks than turkey. November is the month noted as the season for enjoying turkey but its wonderful taste and nutritional value should not be reserved just for the holidays as it is available to enjoy year-round. The rise in popularity of this lean meat has been spurred by the increased availability of individual turkey pieces such as breasts, tenderloins, cutlets and ground turkey. These alternatives to cooking a whole turkey have made it more convenient for people to easily incorporate turkey into their diets. Bill and Rhonda have almost entirely replaced beef in their eating with turkey. Most recipes that call for ground beef can be modified to use ground turkey.

This week, Rhonda lost three pounds, down now to 234 pounds and Bill stayed the same at 228 pounds. So Rhonda looks like she has finally gotten her big break!

Here are their Perfect set point scores for this week:
Rhonda: (S) 100 (S) 100 (M) 100 (T) 100 (W) 100 (T) 100 (F) 100
Bill: (S) 100 (S) 100 (M) 100 (T) 100 (W) 100 (T) 100 (F) 100

  1. Great Job Rhonda! And maintaining rather than gaining is great too, Bill. Keep it up. You are doing it right!
